Boys & Girls Clubs Announce Dates of 2004 Carnivale di Venezia Ball

Pensacola, FL, Oct. 9, 2003—The Boys & Girls Clubs of Escambia County has scheduled it’s second annual Carnevale di Venezia Charity Ball for Saturday, January 24th at New World Landing in Pensacola.
The Carnevale di Venezia Ball is the Clubs’ primary fundraising event of the year. During the Ball, guests can participate in an abundant silent auction, compete in games and contests for large-scale prizes and enjoy fine dining and dancing while supporting one of the most successful youth programs in the county. The Clubs’ first Ball, in January of 2003, was well received by guests, many of whom attend several grand benefit events each year. “It was the best Ball of its kind I have ever attended,” said Pensacola’s Dee Dee Ritchie.

Space is limited so guests are encouraged to make reservations in advance. Tickets are $100 for individuals, $175 for couples and $750 for a table for eight. In addition, the Boys & Girls Clubs are asking local businesses and individuals to make donations of goods or services to the silent auction effort.
For more information on attending or donating, please contact Jessica Barnes, Ball chair, at (850) 439-2322, or contact executive director Hattie McCorvey at (850) 438-0996.
